Founded by Badia Shephard, the Lending A Supporting Hand (L.A.S.H.) Foundation was born from a dream to end homelessness and create lasting change. Driven by her personal experience and unwavering commitment, Badia envisioned a world where every individual, including veterans and families, has a path to stability and self-sufficiency. Through our dedicated programs and community partnerships, we work tirelessly to turn this vision into reality, offering hope and tangible support to those in need.
We do not raise fund for ourselves. Indeed, we use all the funds that come through charity in the best of the best way in terms of holistic development of children of all age groups. Our team is relentlessly working day and night to ensure that there will no hassle for our fund donor.
We work for children welfare, who are daily exploited and living in the condition deprived of healthy environment, proper eduction, food, cloth and medical care.
The journey of Lending A Supporting Hand (L.A.S.H.) Foundation began with Badia Shephard’s personal experience as a single homeless mother. Facing the harsh realities of homelessness and the struggle to provide for her child, Badia understood the deep sense of helplessness that many families encounter. With over 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, including leadership roles with organizations dedicated to human rights and family support, she saw a profound need for a dedicated approach to addressing homelessness. This led to the creation of L.A.S.H. Foundation—a beacon of hope for those in need.
Badia’s vision was clear: to provide not just temporary relief, but also the tools and resources necessary for long-term success. She leveraged her expertise and passion to build a foundation that offers comprehensive support, from transitional housing to job training and beyond. Through her unwavering commitment and the support of a dedicated team, Badia is making her dream of ending homelessness a reality, one life at a time.
